My quilting buddy Pat Proctor tested this stylish little table runner for the 12 Days of Christmas collection by Sharyn Sowell. Isn’t it CUTE?! I must confess, however, that when I first saw this pattern I thought it was a little goofy. In fact I told September (my partner in crime on this blog, pictured on my right in the “About” photo) that I adored the fabric, but that the pattern was quite decidedly the most odd pattern I had seen for some time. Then she informed me that she had designed it. OOPS!
Ahhh, but it’s one of those projects you just have to see all made up. It’s much smaller than I thought it would be, but it’s just the right size for a nice little accent at the Christmas dinner table, or on a side table with some candles. Now that I’ve seen it all made up I think it’s one of the cutest patterns I have seen in some time!
I think it’s just darling. It’s even a pattern you can do without quilting or binding–doesn’t that sound dreamy?! You can topstitch if you like, but it looks just as cute either way. Click here to download the project.
So get going on those holiday projects…the holidays will be here before you know it!
