Fall ‘10 Quilt Market: Part 4

We were lucky this year to have our booths situated across from our Japanese distributor Kinkame, and two of our newest fabric designers! Next to Kinkame was the Penguin & Fish booth, and the Beach Garden Quilts booth. Yes, that’s right–we have TWO fabulous new designers, and they are so new that I don’t even have any sneak peeks to show you yet. Their collections will be debuting at the next quilt market…very fun!

Here are some snapshots of the Beach Garden Quilts booth. In this first picture you can see Lynette and Laura holding up their famous floormats…so cool!
The Beach Garden gals used almost exclusively Clothworks fabrics, including Farmgirl’s Garden, Hydrangeas, Urban Landscapes, and European Taupe IV.
Click here to visit the Beach Garden Quilts website and order any of these patterns.

Here is the lovely Penguin & Fish booth! I didn’t get as many pictures as I would have liked of this beautiful booth, so visit the Penguin & Fish blog here to see more…
I am loving these precious embroideries…they are so much fun to sit down and relax with in the evenings after a long day. I am working on doing the entire alphabet to make a quilt for my little one. I’m also using them for embroidering flour sack towels for Christmas gifts! You can check out the complete line of embroideries and even order online here.
Here are some photos of the Kinkame booth…
…and check out one of the KwikSew gals wearing a jacket she made in the European Taupe IV fabrics!
Out and about the show I also spotted our fabrics in other booths. Here is our Hey Diddle Diddle fabric at the Karie Patch Designs booth in a super adorable new pattern called Playtime.
There are these fun little twisted bowties on the quilt that you can attach toys to which make it pretty cool…
Well that’s it! I hope you’ve enjoyed a little sneak peek into the goings-on at quilt market. Happy Sewing!
