Holiday Gift Project #1

As the holidays approach, we’d like to share some fabulous projects you can make for the people on your gift list. After all, is there any better gift than a handmade gift? No way! So check back often for more project ideas, and feel free to suggest ideas of your own! We’d love to hear from you.

Both of these projects were made by Lynne Nostrant in Hayden, ID. Talented Miss Lynne is a soon-to-be grandmother of twins, so she’s been sewing up all kinds of goodies for those little babies. If you have any little ones on your holiday gift list, then this is just the project for you! It’s a little sleep sack to keep baby cozy at night. The fabric is Farmgirl’s Garden by Joined at the Hip, and the pattern is called Hushabye Baby by Favorite Things.

Lynne also made a sleep sack in the Milly collection by Erin Ries. Behind it is a quilt she made that I’ll show you in a later blog post.

Lynne says this a quick and easy project to make, taking about two hours to complete. You can find the pattern on the Favorite Things website or simply click here.

Do you have any babies to make gifts for? If so, what are you making for them? More projects to follow soon…
