Attention quilt shops! We’d like to let you all know that we’re pretty well snowed in over here in the Northwest. This photo was taken at my home in Coeur d’Alene, ID where we have about a foot or so of snow, but I hear from my coworkers that there’s about six inches over in Seattle. That pretty much brings the whole city to a stand-still.
If you are a customer and need assistance, just send us an email or leave a message and we’ll get back to as soon as we can.
Who else has snow? Are you snowed in? Are you staying in all cozy and sewing up a storm?
Here in southern Manitoba, Canada we got about 6-7 inches the other day. It was so beautiful – all fluffy and sparkly. It came down gently and blanketed our world in white, which is unusual for the prairie – usually it comes down with wind and drifts. The wind did come up since then and it’s blown around a bit. We’re expecting another 5 inches or so in the next couple of days. I just got back from getting snow tires put on the car, so I feel ready! Right now it’s 5 degrees Fahrenheit, and the sun is shining. Thanks to the outdoor woodstove and solar panel, the house is very warm and cozy. :o)
Oooh, that sounds like the perfect recipe for some cozy quilting!
No we have no snow. It has been warm up until now, but tonight we are going to have a change to wintery weather. Southern Ontario needs some snow to get us in the spirit.
It’s cold here in Chicago, but there is no snow yet!
Sounds like great quilting weather. It was about 80 degrees in Austin today.
