This month’s block is all about leaves … how about we “leaf” sewing behind for a bit and explore some holiday-appropriate crafts? We’re in love with these adorable fairies from a blogger based in the Pacific Northwest – Lucinda Macy of Willodel. Who knew a pine cone, some fall leaves and a couple wooden beads could transform into such a charming tree ornament? And check out these gorgeously-transformed leaves from Kristen Bach featured on blablakids! What an amazing project. With a selection of bright and metallic paints even a toddler could achieve spectacular results. These look gorgeous as standalone ornaments, or could be strung together to make a beautiful bunting or garland. If magnolias are not abundant in your area, other sturdy leaves such as rhododendron would work as well.
